35 Scripture Prayers for Your Husband
God has led me to pray scriptures for my husband. For some reason, for the a while, I didn’t feel like it. I just wanted to pray what I wanted to pray for him, what I felt he needed, but God reminded me that there are promises in His Word and truth in His Word for my husband that He wants my husband to receive, so that’s where my intercession should draw from. So I thank Him for leading me in this, and I want to share the scriptures that I found to pray. I pray this is helpful for all those reading. 35 Prayers for Your Husband
- I ask, Father, that You would bless the work of his hands, in Jesus’ name.
- “The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season and to bless all the work of your hands. You will lend to many nations but will borrow from none.” (Deuteronomy 28:12)
- I ask, Father, that You would help my husband, with whatever he does, work at it with all his heart as working for You and not man, in Jesus’ name.
- “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters.” (Colossians 3:23)
- I ask, Father, that You would help my husband come to You when he is weary and burdened that You may give him rest, that You would help him take Your yoke upon him and learn from You to find rest for his soul, in Jesus’ name.
- “Come to Me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30)

- I ask, Father, that You would help my husband demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God and take captive his thoughts and make them obedient to Christ, in Jesus’ name.

- I ask, Father, that You would help me submit to my husband so that, if he ever does not believe the Word, that he may be won over by my behavior when he sees my purity and reverence of my life, with Your helping me, in Jesus’ name.

- I ask, Father, that You would help my husband trust in You with all his heart and lean not on his own understanding, that in all his ways, You help him submit to You that You will make his paths straight.

- I ask, Father, if ever my husband’s heart condemns him, that You let my husband know that You are greater than His heart and You know everything. I ask that You help him rest in Your presence, in Jesus’ name.

- Thank You, Father, that my husband is Your sheep. I ask that You help him to listen to Your voice and follow You, in Jesus' name.

- I ask, Father, that You would help him hold to the teachings of Your Son Jesus so that he may know the truth and that the truth may set him free, in Jesus' name.

- I ask, Father, that You would help him have joy in You, the God of his salvation, O Lord his strength, that You make his feet like deer's feet and make him walk on his high hills, in Jesus' name.
